Our Tour of Italy continues this month as we travel to Veneto, the sparkling heartland of prosecco and one of Italy’s most romantic regions. From the canals of Venice to the rolling hills of its vineyards, Veneto is known for elegant bubbles, fresh flavours, and a love of simple ingredients done beautifully.

Rossini – $14.50

Named after the famous Italian opera composer Gioachino Rossini, this cocktail is a bright Venetian classic that celebrates the beauty of simple, fresh ingredients.

Made with fresh strawberry purée and chilled Ruffino Prosecco, the Rossini is light, crisp, and refreshing with soft bubbles and vibrant strawberry flavour. Romantic, elegant, and effortlessly Italian—perfect for spring.

• 5 oz Ruffino Prosecco
• Fresh sliced strawberries

This month, our Tour of Italy takes you north to the mountain vineyards of Alto Adige (South Tyrol), where alpine air meets Italian charm and aperitivo hour is light, fresh, and effortlessly elegant.

Hugo Spritz – $14.50

Hailing from Alto Adige (South Tyrol), near the Austrian border, the Hugo Spritz is a modern Italian favourite. Created between 2005–2010, it’s much newer than classics like the Negroni or Americano and was designed as a bright, floral alternative to the Aperol Spritz.

Often described as the Italian taste of spring in a glass, this cocktail is crisp, bubbly, and wonderfully refreshing.

Delicate floral notes, light citrus, and gentle sweetness come together for a clean, slightly sweet finish that awakens the palate and pairs beautifully with food.

A timeless classic with roots in northern Italy, the Americano was first created in the 1860s at Gaspare Campari’s bar in Milan. Originally called the Milano–Torino (named for its ingredients), it later earned the name Americano thanks to its popularity with American visitors travelling through Italy.

Gentle spice, clean and dry, with a lightly bitter finish, this refreshing cocktail awakens the palate and sets the stage for a beautiful meal.
